The people in our lives that help us do what we do should know that we appreciate them. I feel like it’s a given. I’d like to thank every single client who has ever patronized our shop since we were born 5 years ago. We turn 5 on Monday and are celebrating at the shop ALL DAY Tuesday. Come down and check it out! Come say hi! Come get a tour! Come and have some snacks and fancy drinks! Come and wish us well!
We really love you guys! Thank you! That’s the fresh perspective….
I’m dreaming of the day I can wear open-toed anything and bare my arms. I’m dreaming of the hot sun and sand between my toes. Some of our staff are on holidays as we speak. What are you up to? Heading anywhere warm? These photos remind me of a warmer time. Happy day of Love!
What do we have in Feb? Well there’s Valentine’s Day, (extreme cold) and we get a long weekend in honor of my man Louis Riel and extreme cold. There’s also the Festival Du Voyager and let’s not forget our birthday with a side of extreme cold…
Wanna work in our new space?! We are looking for a few good people. If you know anyone looking for work, send them down to our shop with a resume. We are looking to fill 3 positions. We need a receptionist, a licensed esthetician, and a licensed hairstylist.
We’re looking for someone who is hard-working, experienced with social media, and likes to have a good time. Is that you? Do you know anyone? If you do, send ’em. Thanks guys! That’s the fresh perspective…
Are you setting off to a warmer climate this winter season? Are you prepared for the changes that the heat will do to your hair and skin? As you pack up your bikinis and sunscreen, make sure not to forget the products that protect your hair, skin and nails. Leaving an extremely cold climate to an extreme warm one is lovely for your hair/skin/nails when you’re on your way, but as you return??
2015 is here! Resolutions, begin! I’m amazed at how fast last year came and went. What a trip! I delivered a baby in 2014 and we expanded the shop in 2014. I d-jayed (I dunno how to spell Dee-jay. Sorry) in a night club and took a train for the first time. What’s 2015 going to bring? I do have a few tricks up my sleeve… For me, 2015 will be the year of my big chop (again).
Now that the holidays are pretty much here (my last day is the 23rd) family members and loved ones start to stream into the city in a steady trickle. I’m sure there are many people headed to the airport this weekend. Maybe you’re picking up a family member, or getting away for the 25th, the airport is a buzz. The city is alive and you can feel the energy in the atmosphere change.
Christmas is around the corner and my family and I enjoy it with a good dose of basketball. I know it’s bizarre but our family tradition does include a good dose of sports. As 2014 comes to an end, I’m again reminded about how important my relatives are to me. We expanded our family by one this summer as well! To be able to just unwind, rest, and love all these people makes me feel complete. I’m excited, I’m grateful and I’m very happy. Happy holidays to all of you from all of us!
We are now offering Hotheads extensions at the shop now folks! Extensions are a fun way to change-up your look! The specific brand we are promoting right now is ultra gentle, easy to take in and out, and won’t keep you at the shop for 6 hours!
We’re almost there folks. Almost submerged in the freezer-like winter. What have you done to prepare yourself for this? Did you pull out all your winter clothes? Did you dig out that toque? I have just purchased some waterproof winter gloves. This is different for me because I’m a leather glove kinda lady. Apart from being a leather glove kinda lady, I also loathe the cold. The leather, simply isn’t cutting it anymore. It isn’t warm enough and they stiffen in the extreme cold.
