One of those days…

Looks like I’m a bit behind today.  I meant to post this morning but between Kindermusik and the Passport office I lost track of time.  Yesterday was mother’s day and so it was relaxing and restful.  I just moved through the day with slowness and ease.  The weather was lovely and I felt so great.

Today though, I feel like I’m still moving so slow even though there’s a tonne to do.  Half the day is gone and I still need to get groceries, make dinner, make all the beds and finish off my laundry…  But I’ve been laying here for far too long pretending that all the aforementioned duties are completed.  I want to be sun tanning…

DermOrganic Hair Spray

We haven’t officially started carrying this product, but for an aerosol hair spray it’s very good.  What amazed me yesterday was the lack of harsh aerosol-ish type smell that comes with canned products.

Bio-Oil

We don’t sell this at the shop but I like to review products that I actually use.  Some of you may be familiar with this product if you have given birth.  It’s most known for reducing stretch marks and getting rid of unsightly skin scars and discolorations.

Once your body has been ravished with stretch marks, there is a high possibility that they will never leave you.  This product smooths them out and makes your skin feel so, so, so, so, so soft.  So soft.

The oil has a light scent as is quite light surprisingly.  I used it for three months last year and eventually switched to cocoa butter after that run.  I’m back for another three-month round and I’m positive the results will be even better yet.  Like I said earlier, the oil will not remove your stretch marks all together, but it does lighten them up and make your skin supah smooth and soft.

Monday, Monday, the beginning of the week for most.  Here we go again…

My brother moved to Montreal last week and has only been gone for less than a week and it’s so strange how much I miss him even though I didn’t see him everyday.

He lived just down the street and we would meet once a week at least.  I knew where he was and I knew what he was doing mostly, and now…

I’m so happy that he has taken this opportunity to try something new and relocate himself and his life to another place.  He will be learning how to speak french (I’m envious but I am hoping he can be my pseudo teacher) playing music, and doing a lot of writing.

Life is something you can only experience when you breathe.  It’s the one intrinsic thing that separates us from the dead. Inhale, exhale.
